The good news: popular Sega MMO Phantasy Star Online 2 is headed for PC in North America next week, on May 27. The bad news: it’s arriving on the oft-maligned Windows 10 Microsoft Store. But hey, at least we’re getting a Hatsune Miku event.

Phantasy Star Online 2 launched back in 2012 in Japan on PC and later on consoles, and finally began arriving in North America beginning in April of this year on Xbox One. The North American version of Phantasy Star Online 2 features years worth of balancing, updates, and patches.

In the free-to-play action-MMO, players can choose from four races and nine classes to go on missions, enjoy Casino mini-games, and socialize in the Alliance Quarters. The PC version will be fully compatible with the Xbox version, allowing players from both platforms to play together.

Digital pop star Hatsune Miku will arrive in the world of Phantasy Star Online 2 in the form of special items. Players can use Arks Cash Scratch Tickets to get themed clothing and accessories from Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka and Kagamine Rin & Len. The event is available now on Xbox One.

“We’re thrilled to announce the long-awaited arrival on PC,” said Fred White, PSO2 Head of Marketing. “There’s a loud and passionate PC fanbase who has been patiently waiting for the North American version – we can’t wait to welcome them in. There will be login bonuses waiting for them with more surprises planned in the coming months.”

Phantasy Star Online 2 is available on Xbox One, and coming to PC (Microsoft Store) May 27. It’s rated T for Teen.

Microsoft has announced two new Special Edition Wireless Controllers: Phantom Magenta and Arctic Camo. Both controllers are Bluetooth compatible with Xbox One, Windows 10, mobile devices, as well as the upcoming Xbox Series X console this Holiday Season. They’re available for pre-order now.

The Phantom Magenta Special Edition wireless controller is the third in the Phantom series. The ultra-saturated purples, pinks, and black transitions from opaque to translucent. It’s inspired by cyberpunk sci-fi like Ghost in the Shell, and could fit perfectly with upcoming action-RPG Cyberpunk 2077. It’s releasing on March 17 for $69.99 at Microsoft Stores and select online retailers.

The Arctic Camo Special Edition wireless controller is the second Camo series controller, and features a white and grey camo design. The controller uses a frosted transparent resin to appear camouflaged from the inside-out, and features diamond-texture on the triggers. The Arctic Camo Special Edition is launching in May exclusively at Walmart and Microsoft Stores.

Both controllers will also feature optional matching charging stands. Each charging stand includes a battery cover, rechargeable battery, and 6-foot power cord for $49.99. The Phantom Magenta charging stand will be available the same day as the controller, March 17. The Arctic Camo charging stand will release April 27.
