Humble Cities: Skylines Bundle Features Over $100 of Content

Posted by | News, PC | No Comments

Humble is offering a fantastic deal for city managing fans with the Humble Cities: Skylines Bundle, available until July 8.

Cities: Skylines is everything a SimCity fan would want, and it’s available in the bundle for as little as $1. Like other Humble Bundles, you can choose to pay more to unlock more games (via Steam codes). In this case, the additional content adds a large amount of previously released DLC.

Pay at least $1:

  • Cities: Skylines
  • Deep Focus Radio DLC

Pay more than the average donation (currently $7.32) to also unlock:

  • Concerts DLC
  • High-Tech Buildings Creator Pack
  • Snowfall DLC
  • Natural Disasters DLC

Pay more than $10 to also unlock:

  • Mass Transit DLC
  • Green Cities DLC
  • Industries DLC
  • Campus DLC
  • Art Deco Content Creator Pack
  • European Suburbia Content Creator Pack

The newest DLC that released earlier this year, Sunset Harbor, is not included in the bundle.

The Content Creator Packs are smaller DLC that add new models and buildings, typically priced around $5. The others are larger additions that add new features and mechanics, such as Mass Transit’s new service hubs and scenarios and Campus’ school zones and educational policies. Each of the bigger DLCs are priced between $13 and $15.

As with all Humble Bundles, you can choose how much of your donation goes to the developers, how much to the chosen charity (Child’s Play, though you can choose your own from their database), and how much to Humble.

Cities: Skylines originally released in 2015 by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive. It expertly filled the single player city building void left by the disappointing SimCity (2013), and has released numerous paid DLC and content updates in the years since.

Cities: Skylines is rate E for Everyone.

Cities: Skylines Celebrates 5 Million Sold with Ties to Surviving Mars

SimCity-like management game Cities: Skylines is turning three years old this weekend. Publisher Paradox Interactive is celebrating with some in-game goodies, as they all also reveal hitting the five million copies sold milestone.

Cities: Skylines players will be able to enjoy a new Rocket City building called Xchirp Launcher as well as a new radio station called Official Mars Radio. Starting this Friday, March 9, the radio station will play space-themed electronica.

While these goodies are meant to celebrate the three year and five million sold milestones, they’re really advertising Paradox’s upcoming game release, Surviving Mars, on March 15. Surviving Mars looks to take many of the winning concepts of Cities: Skylines into building habitable cities on the red planet.

Current owners of Cities: Skylines on Steam will get 10% off pre-orders for Surviving Mars.

Over the years Paradox and developer Colossal Order have released numerous paid and free DLC expansions and updates to Cities: Skylines. Over 1,000 new features have been added since launch, along with over 100,000 free mods via the Steam Workshop.

Next week will see the launch of the Content Creator Pack for the console versions of Cities: Skylines. This $9.99 DLC pack will include a number of new buildings and styles modeled by two talented members of the Cities community, Matt “Shroomblaze” Crux and Mauro “GCVos” Vos. The Content Creator Pack will be available March 13 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Cities: Skylines is available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s rated E for Everyone. Surviving Mars launches March 15.
