Publisher 505 games and developer Ion Lands have released immersive life sim Nivalis Nights on Steam (Epic Games Store coming soon).

Cozy + cyberpunk is a very rare combination!

Nivalis Nights may look a bit like Cyberpunk 2077, but this is actually a cozy life sim and management game. Instead of battling killer robots or sneaking through high-tech corpo offices, we’re taking long walks on the beach, chatting with the locals, decorating our home, and growing our local businesses.

The primary gameplay loop centers around growing our little economic empire, including restaurants, ramen bars, and night clubs. Complete quests and form relationships with friends and neighbors. Grow food and go fishing for fresh ingredients, or shop at local marketplaces, all with an immersive, first-person view.

Ion Lands’ previous game, Cloudpunk, was a story-heavy, sci-fi delivery game set in the cyberpunk city of Nivalis. Nivalis Nights offers a chance to get up close and personal with the city and its inhabitants, while offering more freedom and exploration. Like Cloudpunk, it leans more toward an interactive visual novel than a true open world adventure, however.

Nivalis Nights is currently available with a 10% launch discount through October 13. It’s also coming to the Epic Games Store at a later date.
