Summer Game Fest 2026 officially kicks off with the flagship showcase on June 5 at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern. It’s followed by several days of almost nonstop showcases, from like-minded indie genres, regional developers, marginalized creators, and AAA publishers.

The Summer Game Fest flagship event, co-hosted by Geoff Keighley of The Game Awards and Lucy James, former video editor of GameSpot, is one of the biggest gaming events of the year. Located in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA, the streaming event features a parade of big world premiere reveals and announcements, as well as major news and updates from gaming publishers and creators around the world.

The event is streamed on The Game Awards YouTube and Twitch channels.
