Indie studio Pahdo Labs announced their magical girl anime online action-RPG, Starlight Re:Volver, coming to Steam Early Access in 2025.

Check out the very anime-tastic reveal trailer above, featuring music by Sarah Bonito.

Starlight Re:Volver, bright, colorful art style and character designs are inspired by 90s and 00s anime, manga, and JRPGs. The gameplay mixes fast-paced action-RPG with roguelites, as players venture into dream realms using their Re:Volver devices.

It’s also tagged as a Massively Multiplayer Online game on Steam, where players customize their Divers and explore dangerous dream realms (So Mi) as a group in between hanging out in the city of NIM.

The Early Access version will feature four playable characters, each with their own voices and abilities, as well as three So Mi biomes, and support for up to four player parties. It will also introduce the first neighborhood of the city, Nishi Island Metropolis, with minigames (including fishing) and hangout spots for dozens of players.

Pahdo Labs is planning on keeping Starlight Re:Volver in Early Access for 1-2 years. It’s set to release on Steam Early Access in 2025.
