The Smurfs – Dreams tells an original story within the beloved children’s series, as the villainous Gargamel casts a powerful sleeping spell on the Smurfs. Players must free their fellow Smurfs by entering the colorful worlds of their dreams, and nightmares, which are unique to each Smurf.

The full game features a dozen levels across four different dream worlds, as well as a customizable player Smurf. The Mario-like 3D platformer also supports two player co-op.

The Smurfs date back to the 1960s, but were popularized in the United States with an animated series that ran in the 80s. A newer series is currently available on Netflix, and a new animated movie reboot has been announced through Paramount Pictures, coming to theaters February 14, 2025.

The Smurfs – Dreams will release with Standard, and Digital Deluxe editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a unique thief skin, digital soundtrack, and digital artbook. It’s rated E for Everyone.
