Creatures of Ava is releasing August 7 on PC and Xbox Series X/S ($24.99), including Game Pass, alongside special charity DLC.
The 3D open-world adventure game is set on a colorful alien planet, where explorer Vic crash-lands. The creatures of the peaceful planet are infected by The Withering, and Vic takes up the cause to save them.
It’s a bit more noble then capturing them in balls and forcing them to battle each other!
Vic uses her musical talents and skills to rescue and befriend Ava’s many inhabitants. By upgrading her gear and skills and directing creatures, she can access new areas and complete new challenges.
The story, co-written by Rhianna Pratchett, features themes of love and empathy for the natural world. To that end, publisher 11 bit studios and developer Inverge Studios have announced a special charity DLC ($2.99) for Creatures of Ava. The WDC Backpack Trinkets Set features four cosmetic backpack trinkets showcasing real-world whales and dolphins. All net proceeds of the DLC will go to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation.
The WDC Backpack Trinkets DLC is also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Creatures of Ava is out August 7 on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG) and Xbox Series X/S. It’s rated E10+.
