Modus Games have released a demo for upcoming farm-sim-dino adventure Paleo Pines, as part of Steam Next Fest this summer. Along with the demo is a new trailer showing off the gameplay of Paleo Pines.

Paleo Pines is a colorful, kid-friendly farm and town sim with one big twist: it’s full of dinosaurs! Mostly cute, friendly dinosaurs, such as your trusty steed, a parasaurolophus named Lucky.

In addition to farming, ranching, befriending townsfolk, and exploring the island, you’ll be able to find and tame wild dinosaurs.

Dinos can be given treats, songs, and hugs to domesticate them into joining your farm and helping out around the ranch. Befriended dinos can be ridden, to use their abilities to till dirt, water crops, or just enjoy the awesomeness of dino-riding.

The demo is available now as part of Steam Next Fest, a semi-annual digital festival hosted by Steam that highlights hundreds of indie games.

The demo is currently only available on PC, but Paleo Pines is also launching on PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox on September 26. It’s rated E for Everyone.
