Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal have released Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy, a single-player, third-person action game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A Cloud Version is also available for Nintendo Switch.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is based on the Marvel comics and popular films, with a few changes. One change is making Star-Lord a bit younger. Instead of blaring the hits of the 1970s, now he’s into the rock and roll of the 1980s. The licensed soundtrack includes songs from Bonny Tyler, Rick Astley, KISS, and Motley Crue. Over 30 tracks in total.
Although Guardians of the Galaxy is an ensemble cast, you’ll only play as Star-Lord in the game. As leader of the team, Star-Lord can direct his team in combat, exploration, and dialogue. The story and dialogue maintains the quippy, humorous tone that made the films so popular.

Unlike Square Enix’s previous big Marvel game, Marvel’s Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy is an entirely single player adventure. It’s rate T for Teen, and out now on PC and consoles.
