I love a trailer that shows gameplay, and even though I’m not a big fan of extreme sports, it’s impossible not to enjoy the slick trailer for Riders Republic, a sporting playground MMO developed by Ubisoft, and releasing September 2, 2021 on PC, PlayStation, Stadia, and Xbox.

Riders Republic features an open world filled with all kinds of outdoor sporting events and races, including mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, wing suiting, and even rocket-powered wing suiting.

In Mass Races, up to 50 players can compete live on screen at the same time thanks to next-gen hardware technology (with “more than 20” on PS4 and XBO) in multisport races. Trick Battles are 6v6 squads that try and outdo each other by scoring points, while Versus and Free for All offer more structured challenges through a variety of playlists.

Events appear randomly on the map, encouraging you to scour the gigantic sports park that combines many famous American National Parks, including Yosemite, Sequoia, Mammoth Mountain, and Grand Teton.

Riders can be customized by completing events in solo career mode and online, unlocking new gear and outfits. You can even sign with sponsors to compete in big events like Red Bull Rampage and the X Games.

Riders Republic is launching on September 2 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and will support cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. Register on the official website to sign up for upcoming betas.
