One of the most highly anticipated sequels of the year, Destiny 2 is out today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For a series first it’s also coming to PC via Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher, but not until October 24. You can watch the recently released live action trailer above.

Destiny 2 is developed by original Halo creators Bungie and published by Activision Blizzard. The story opens with an invasion and attack on the last city on Earth, the is Traveler captured, and the Guardians left in diaspora. But mostly it’s about joining with friends on missions to defeat bad guys and acquire loot.

The first end-game 6-player raid is set to go live on September 13. Destiny 2 will also feature a new system to help foster a growing community called Guided Games. Guided Games will help players find the right groups to tackle Destiny 2’s many activities.
Destiny 2 has been rated T for Teen. It’s available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s coming to PC October 24.
