Marvel Rivals Season 8: Sins of Alchemax launches May 15, headlined by Marvel’s beloved dino-hero: Devil Dinosaur! Season 8 also adds a new Doom map, and teases future heroes Cyclops and Moon Girl.

Devil Dinosaur is a Vanguard — duh! As if a giant honking Tyrannosaurus Rex needed more power, Devil also wields a forcefield shield to keep him on the frontline. His primal bites inflict bleeding on enemies, before restraining them in his massive jaws.

His Ultimate ability transforms him into an unstoppable juggernaut that charges and tramples all enemies in his path.

Oh, and Punisher can totally ride Devil in an awesome new Team-Up!

The new Doom Match map, Alchemax Headquarters, will arrive a bit later, on May 28.

Where Devil goes, Lunella, aka Moon Girl, isn’t far behind. The two are an inseparable duo in the comics, and are featured in a fun animated series on Disney+, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Aside from the trailer tease, Moon Girl also appears in the Devil Dino Hide and Seek event, with its own set of missions featuring the new hero.

Season 8 also adds a new Battle Pass, Project: Heroic Age, featuring 10 new sets of costumes for different heroes, including Rogue, Gambit, and Jeff the Land Shark.

The premium shop also gets several new outfits and emoji bundles, including two new costumes for Devil Dinosaur.

The new Season also kicks off Stage 1 of the Ignite esports tournament, and more goodies for college student players with the College Student Perks program.

Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play, competitive hero shooter starring Marvel heroes (and anti-heroes). It’s designed by NetEase Games and available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and rated T for Teen.
