Indie developer Monomi Park is celebrating Slime Rancher’s 10th anniversary with the release of the Slime Rancher 2 physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The physical editions are available now via major retailers (Amazon, Gamestop, etc), as well as iam8bit ($34.99).

The physical Retail Edition includes a fold-out poster featuring original artwork from beloved Square Enix artist, Yusuke Naora. An Exclusive Edition is available on iam8bit that also includes a sticker sheet featuring new slimes, a downlolad code for the soundtrack, and an exclusive o-sleeve for the game box.

Fans can also purchase the Yusuke Naora art print as a larger 18″ x 24″ frameable print, with foil treatment ($39.99).

“Games are a beautiful thing. They create stories that you can author, glimpses into worlds you never imagined, laughter from failures, and tears from how the stories end,” said Nick Popovich, co-founder and CEO, Monomi Park. “Slime Rancher has all of these things, anchored in the hearts of its caring, inclusive, and thoughtful community. It’s a community that made all of this possible, now and in adventures yet to come. And so to that I’ll say to every pioneer on every new frontier: be brave, be bold, and stay wiggly forever.”

Slime Rancher launched September 2025 after spending several years in Early Access. The first-person rancher puts players on a new series of slime-filled islands. There they can explore, discover secrets, gather and breed slimes, and purchase upgrades.

While the original game is rightfully beloved, we found the sequel a bit too big and unwieldy (read our review).

Slime Rancher 2 is also available on PC (Steam), and rated E10+.
