Adhoc Studio announced that their debut adventure game, Dispatch, is coming digitally to Switch and Switch 2 on January 28, 2026 ($29.99). Pre-orders are available now, with a 10% discount ($26.99).

Dispatch is a “superhero workplace comedy” starring an Iron Man-like hero (without the wealth) who loses his suit in battle against his nemesis. Robert Robertson is forced into a desk job as a dispatcher for a group of reformed supervillains-turned-reluctant-heroes.

Adhoc Studio is made up of key developers from Telltale Games, designers of beloved narrative-rich, licensed adventure games such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. Dispatch continues this trend, but with less picking up items for puzzles, and more mini-games and RPG elements, such as deciding which teammates to send on which missions.

It also features an incredible voice cast that includes Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Matthew Mercer, and Jeffrey Wright.

Dispatch represents a wholly original concept, and the results have been glowing: the game currently boasts an Overwhelmingly Positive user rating (96%) on Steam. Since its launch in October, Dispatch has sold over two million copies.

The Switch 2 version will feature 1440p resolution and up to 60fps.

Dispatch is currently available on Steam PC and PlayStation 5, including a 10% discount from ongoing Winter Sales. Note that despite the superhero theme and animated art style, this is an M-rated game, with the following ESRB content descriptors: Blood, Crude Humor, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Language, Use of Drugs and Alcohol.
