Resolution Games, in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro), has released Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, an awkwardly titled new tactical strategy game for 1-4 players. It’s available now on PC and Mac (including PCVR), PlayStation 5 (including PSVR2), and Meta Quest ($29.99).

Battlemarked is built using Resolution Games’ Demeo Action Role-Playing System, where up to four players simulate real-life tabletop role-playing by moving their miniatures through gridded dungeons, and battling monsters using cards and dice.

At launch, players can choose one of six characters that sport classic D&D classes: Elf Bard, Dwarf Fighter, Dragonborn Paladin, Human Ranger, Tiefling Rogue, and Halfling Sorcerer, and level up their characters over the course of an entire campaign.

Battlemarked includes two original story campaigns: Embers of Chaos, and Crown of Frost. Embers of Chaos takes players through the goblin-infested Neverwinter Wood and beneath the volcano of Mount Hotenow. Crown of Frost is set in the frigid north of Icewind Dale, where players must quell a frost giant uprising that threatens Ten Towns.

More campaigns and heroes are planned to release as DLC through 2026 and beyond. There are 12 classes in D&D Fifth Edition, and that’s not including subclasses!

“With Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, we wanted to create a D&D experience for everyone,” said Tommy Palm, CEO, Resolution Games. “For us that meant, bringing you right into the heart of the adventure — where every turn is tactical, every choice matters, and anyone can be a hero. Whether it’s your first quest or your hundredth campaign, Battlemarked brings the world of D&D to life in a way that’s easy to jump into and hard to put down for pick-up-and-play D&D fun with all of your friends.”

Battlemarked is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Meta Quest, and rated E for Everyone.
