Marvelous USA have released Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the latest remake of the classic farm sim series, Harvest Moon. It’s available now on Steam PC and Switch ($49.99), and Switch 2 ($59.99).
Grand Bazaar is a remake of the original Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar, which released in 2010 on the Nintendo DS. The remake provides a bigger world, enhanced graphics, new characters, an expanded story, and, in a series first, full voice work during story events.
Grand Bazaar is set in Zephyr Town, once home to a world-famous bazaar. The player’s job is to restore the town, and the bazaar, through farmwork, collection, exploration, and socializing with townsfolk. By selling their wares at their own market stall, the bazaar business grows, and the town can return to prosperity.
Zephyr Town is also known for its wind. Players can utilize a glider to quickly travel across town, and windmills help create new goods to sell.
“Grand Bazaar is very dear to many of us on the development team, and we’re excited to introduce a new generation of gamers to Zephyr Town,” said Hikaru Nakano, series manager. “To our longtime fans – we are very pleased to offer you a classic Story of Seasons experience with modern enhancements. As we continue moving the series forward we hope our longtime fans continue to enjoy their time living in the charming worlds we create!”
In addition to the standard edition, Marvelous is selling a physical Premium Edition for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar on Switch and Switch 2. The Premium Edition includes a plush sheep, a cloth poster, a 115-page art book, and a soundtrack. The Switch version of the Premium Edition is $69.99, while Switch 2 is listed at $79.99.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is rated E for Everyone.
