Charming cozy sim Tiny Bookshop dropped a surprise announcement during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase — it’s out now! Tiny Bookshop is available right now on Steam PC and Nintendo Switch ($19.99).

Tiny Bookshop is a narrative-driven life sim about running a bookstore out of a trailer. Players travel along the idyllic coastal town of Bookstonbury to share their wares and meet new people. The titular bookshop is tiny but fully customizable. Players can unlock additional items by exploring new locations around town, and different items have different effects on customers.

By talking to customers and learning more about them, players can recommend the right books and satisfy their requests.

As a cozy sim, the game doesn’t force any time pressure or failure mechanics. And of course, there’s a totally chillaxing original soundtrack.

Tiny Bookshop is developed by German studio, neoludic games, another indie team that’s too cool to capitalize their name. It’s published by Skystone Games, and also available on Mac and Linux.

“We’ve always imagined Tiny Bookshop as a playable daydream ,” said neoludic games. “It’s a story about stories. It’s about listening, connecting, and finding meaning in the little things. Launching today as a surprise at the Nintendo Indie World Showcase was a dream come true.”

Tiny Bookshop is rated E for Everyone.
