Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is getting a head-turning add-on courtesy of Orbx and Universal — Jurassic World: Archipelago.

The Jurassic World add-on brings the tropical locations of the Jurassic franchise into Flight Simulator. Specifically, Isla Nublar (Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom), Isla Sorna (The Lost World, Jurassic Park 3), and the surrounding Muertes Archipelago islands.

Pilots can fly through the regions, land at airstrips, search for free roaming prehistoric creatures, and recognize iconic structures from the Jurassic World theme park. Oh, and that includes flying reptiles as well!

The add-on will also include custom airfields and helipads, themed liveries, and unique flight activities.

“As lifelong fans of the franchise, bringing Jurassic World’s awe-inspiring environments to the flight simulator has been a thrill for the Orbx team,” said Anna Cicognani, CEO, Orbx. “Every moment you spend exploring feels like stepping right into the adventure: it’s daring, it’s immersive, it’s your own blockbuster. We’re grateful to Universal Products & Experiences for collaborating with us to bring these iconic landscapes with a fresh sense of wonder and discovery to the game.”

A release date for Jurassic World: Archipelago has not yet been announced.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available on Windows PC and Xbox Series X/S.

If you want more dinosaurs (and a bit less flying), check out Jurassic World Evolution. The third game in the park management sim is due out this October.
