Square Enix announced the Life is Strange Collection, a 5-game compilation pack exclusively for physical release on PlayStation 5. It’s dropping October 2.

The Life is Strange Collection includes all five games in the series:

  • Life is Strange Remastered
  • Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered
  • Life is Strange 2
  • Life is Strange: True Colors Deluxe Edition
  • Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition

The physical disc includes True Colors and Double Exposure, but only digital codes for the older games. The Collection also includes all DLC and pre-order items.

The Life is Strange series are narrative-focused adventure games that focus on young adults and teens with supernatural powers, from telekinesis to time-rewinding and psychic empathy.

The series is popular for its serious, emotional storytelling and characters, and prominent LGBTQ representation.

The original game and sequel were created by Dontnod, while Before the Storm (a prequel), True Colors, and Double Exposure were developed by Deck Nine. Most of the games were well-received, though fans and critics were mixed on Double Exposure, which released in 2024 and stars original (and older) protagonist Max Caulfield.

The Life is Strange Collection will release for PlayStation 5 in retail stores on October 2. Pre-orders are available now via the Square Enix Store. The series is rated M for Mature.
