The expansive Minecraft DLC adds the five most famous dragons from the first film: Night Fury, Gronckle, Nadder, Zippleback, and Nightmare. The dragons are found in the wild, and must be tamed using different resources. True to the story, if you approach them with a weapon, they may attack!
You won’t be able to hop on your dragon right away — you need to forge a trusting bond. Give them plenty of love and food to strengthen the bond, improve their stats, and name them.
At the new dragon forge, players can craft a dragon saddle, and a horn to summon them. Plus, collect the dragon’s scales as they shed to craft unique armor.
In survival mode, dragons can defeat hostile mobs, break blocks, and get you places much faster by flying.
