During Summer Game Fest 2025, the LEGO Group announced LEGO Voyagers, a co-op platforming adventure designed for two players. LEGO Voyagers will release later this year on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
Unlike just about every other LEGO-based video game, Voyagers doesn’t include minifigures as playable characters. Instead, players embody two literal 1×1 bricks, with a single emotive eye.
They are ridiculously adorable, and I must protect them at all costs.
The two bricks must work together to navigate their world by building bridges, stairs, and vehicles through physics-based challenges and puzzles. The nonverbal story focuses on friendship, wonder, and free-form play, as they work to rescue a downed spaceship.
The co-op adventure takes a page from Hazelight Studios’ two-player adventures with the Friend’s Pass feature. With Friend’s Pass, only one player needs to own the game, and can invite a partner to join. Voyagers supports same-screen local co-op as well as online multiplayer.
Voyagers is being developed by Light Brick Studio, the designers behind the excellent mobile puzzle game, LEGO Builder’s Journey, and published by Annapurna Interactive.
LEGO Voyagers will release later this year on PC and consoles, and is available for wishlisting on Steam and PlayStation. It’s rated E for Everyone.
