Lego Builder’s Journey launched in late 2019 on Apple Arcade iOS as a creative puzzle-platformer. Light Brick Studio and Lego have announced that Lego Builder’s Journey is coming to PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2021.

The puzzles of Builder’s Journey are entirely non-verbal and environmental. Players guide a father and son (abstractly represented from basic bricks) on a series of puzzles by manipulating Lego pieces on the small 3/4 view Lego maps. It’s kind of like Captain Toad, but with Legos.

The PC version features several new visual upgrades, including ray tracing, shadows, and global illumination, showcased in the above video.

“When we released Lego Builder’s Journey in 2019, it quickly became a fan-favorite among Lego fans and the larger gaming community,” said Karsten Lund, creative director and head of studio, Light Brick Studio. “We are thrilled to introduce the game to a whole new audiences playing on PC and Switch. We look forward to hearing the reaction from player communities on these platforms, and already have plans in motion to expand to other console platforms later this summer.”

Lego Builder’s Journey will release on Steam and Switch on June 22. It’s also available on iOS via Apple Arcade.
