Humble Games and developer Pocketwatch Games have released co-op stealth sequel, Monaco 2, on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Monaco 2 is a team-based, top-down, stealth adventure. Players choose their unique character among the crew of eight thieves, each with their own set of skills to hack, distract, sneak, or brawl their way past problems. Players can even swap their character during a heist to even more flexibility.

The goal is to get in, grab as much loot as possible, and escape with their lives.

Before the heist starts, players can use Blueprint mode to analyze each level and plan the assault. Monaco 2 features hundreds of procedurally generated levels for endless thievery.

Thieves can go at it alone, or join forces with up to three friends in online and local co-op, including split-screen.

Monaco 2’s 3D world is a big graphical upgrade over the more abstracted, pixelated original game. Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine released over a decade ago, and currently sits at a 92% Very Positive rating on Steam.

If you missed out on the excellent original game, you can grab both Monaco games in the Lucky in Monaco Bundle on Steam with a 10% discount ($35.98).

To celebrate the launch, Pocketwatch Games are hosting a competitive Invitational. Players are encouraged to share their fastest runs of the first four levels to YouTube or Twitch, and use the hashtag, #Monaco2Invitational.

Monaco 2 is available now, and rated T for Teen.
