Indie developer and publisher Chucklefish confirmed their newest game, Witchbrook, is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. The life sim is also launching on PC (Steam), Xbox (including Game Pass), and the original Switch.

Like Chucklefish’s other games, Witchbrook has a charmingly pixelated art style. I seriously cannot get over how cute this game looks!

Players join Witchbrook College as a witch-in-training. Perfect magical skills in class, then enjoy life in the wider city of Mossport. Players can meet friends (and date them), explore the woods, shop at the market, and enjoy seasonal festivals. Best of all — travel in style on your own witchy broom!

And it wouldn’t be a proper life sim without your own customizable woodland cottage and personal garden.

Witchbrook will also support multiplayer with up to four players in online co-op.

Chucklefish is co-developing Witchbrook with Robotality, who also worked on Wargroove 2 and Pathway (both published by Chucklefish).

To stay up to date, fans can register for the Witchbrook Oracle newsletter at the official website.

Witchbrook will launch this winter on PC (Steam), Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s rated T for Teen by the ESRB, with Suggestive Themes.
