Life sim inZOI released via Steam Early Access last week, and has already surpassed 1 million sales, according to Krafton. Needless to say, it’s the fastest-selling game ever for the Korean developer.

At a time when hyped new releases are often panned by the public due to technical difficulties and other shortcomings, inZOI currently holds a Very Positive 83% user review rating on Steam.

Players are generally impressed with the amount of content in Early Access, including two cities, hundreds of customization options, 3D printing, and overall graphics and stability.

InZOI is a single player life sim starring Zois, customizable characters with their own personalities and experiences. Players are free to customize the Zois and furnish their world. The game leverages AI technology to foster user-generated content, including turning 2D images into 3D objects.

To date, users have shared over 470,000 pieces of content over in-game sharing platform, Canvas.

“We are grateful and excited to present inZOI to players around the world through Early Access,” said CH Kim, CEO, Krafton. “We will continue to actively communicate with players and foster inZOI as Krafton’s long-term franchise IP.”

InZOI will remain in Early Access for at least one year, though updates and additions will remain free. New updates should arrive “about once every two months.” InZOI is rated T for Teen.
