Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 update, “Astra-nomical Moment,” adds two new S-rank agents and a ton of events, beginning January 22.
The event surrounds New Eridu’s celebration of the new year (conveniently during the actual Lunar New Year). During the new story mission, pop star and new S-rank Agent, Astra Yao, will perform on stage. But danger abounds in the city. Players will team up with Astra and her guardian, Evelyn, to uncover schemes and conspiracies surrounding the big show.
Astra is an Ether Support Agent, and the first agent capable of healing her fellow teammates. Her buffs remain even when switching between teammates, and her Ultimate damages enemies while healing her allies.
Evelyn is a Fire Attack Agent who generates Burning Tether points and unleashes them in big attacks. Her Ultimate gets progressively more powerful in combat, and even uses different animations.
In addition to the new agents, 1.5 will finally add returning agents to Zenless for the first time. Players who missed out on Ellen or Qingyi last year (or want to collect their Mindscape upgrades) can pull on their 1.5 Banners.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 also adds new arcade games, a new Endless Tower with 10 floor phases, and new Hollow Zone Perpetrator Battles with designated Agents. Plus, players can dress up their Agents in new alternate outfits. Earn a free Nicole outfit by completing the event “Ridu’s Got Boo.”
Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play gacha-RPG on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. It’s rated T for Teen.
