Here’s a trend we definitely want to keep seeing: shuttered live service free-to-play games reemerging as complete premium titles.

After shutting down mobile game Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp a few months ago, Nintendo has re-released the life sim as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. It’s available on iOS and Android mobile devices for a one-time purchase of $19.99, currently on sale for $9.99 through January 30, 2025.

The new premium version of the game includes “many of the items and events that were released over the course of seven years, along with newly added content.”

Pocket Camp translates the popular Animal Crossing formula into a campsite experience. Players fish, catch bugs, make friends, and decorate their campsite with over 10,000 different items.

Pocket Camp Complete also adds an entirely new location: Whistle Pass, featuring live music form K.K. Slider. It’s also a hub for multiplayer meetups with other players, by registering their Camper Cards. Customize your own Camper Card with poses, designs, and your favorite friend.

Players can also transfer their custom designs from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, applying them to clothing, flooring, and other objects.

Existing Pocket Camp players needn’t start over. As long as they linked their data to their Nintendo Account, players can transfer their save data to the new version. This transfer is available for a limited time, expiring on June 1, 2025.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is available now on mobile platforms. It’s rated E for Everyone.
