One of gaming’s most storied puzzle games is getting a big compilation in Tetris Forever, launching November 12 on PC and consoles. Published by Digital Eclipse.

Tetris Forever celebrates four decades of Tetris history with more than 15 games, from the early prototypes of the 1980s, to a brand new version exclusive to Tetris Forever.

  • Hatris, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1990 on the Famicom

  • Hatris, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1991 on the Game Boy
  • Hatris, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1992 on the Nintendo Entertainment System
  • Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1992 on the Super Famicom
  • Tetris Battle Gaiden, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1993 on the Super Famicom
  • Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss Genteiban, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1993 on the Super Famicom
  • Super Tetris 3, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1994 on the Super Famicom
  • Super Bombliss, released by Bullet-Proof Software in 1995 on the Super Famicom

Tetris Forever also includes a recreation of the very first version of Tetris, designed by Alexey Pajitnov on a Soviet-era Electronika 60 in 1984. In addition to retro games, the compilation includes a 90-minute documentary on the history of Tetris.

The new release is Tetris Time Warp, designed by Digital Eclipse. Tetris Time Warp supports four players as they warp through different eras and visual styles of Tetris history.

Tetris Forever will release on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox on November 12. It’s rated E for Everyone.
