Funko, Universal, and indie developer 10:10 Games have released Funko Fusion on PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox.

Funko Fusion is an action-adventure game featuring the iconic block-headed collectible figures, which seemingly include every pop culture license ever. The third-person action gameplay is heavily inspired by LEGO games, with players unlocking characters, battling enemies, solving puzzles, and exploring a dizzying montage of locations and references.

Funko Fusion is backed by the NBC Universal license, and features content from Jurassic World, Back to the Future, Chucky, The Umbrella Academy, Masters of the Universe, The Walking Dead, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and more. Over 60 characters from over 20 franchises, and many of them are certainly not kid-friendly!

Up to four players can join together in online co-op.

“We’re so proud of what our small team has accomplished with our debut game Funko Fusion, an ambitious, joyful, and lighthearted love letter to pop culture,” said Arthur Parsons, co-founder, 10:10 Games. “Building this game, while also building our studio and culture, has been a genuine delight. Funko Fusion is about celebrating fandom, the stories and characters we all love in our uniquely irreverent yet authentic style, and we’re so excited to be able to share it today with the immensely passionate fans that we made it for.”

New physical Funko Pop! figures are also releasing, based on new characters from the game, such as the villainous Eddy Funko, and creepy monsters from The Thing.

It’s not quite toys-to-life, but players can redeem codes with the Funko Fusion Pop! figures for in-game bonuses.

Funko Fusion is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A free demo is available on Steam. It’s coming to PS4 on November 15, and releasing on Switch in December. A physical Switch version is coming March 2025.

Funko Fusion is rated T for Teen.
