Indie developer Monster Couch has announced that Wingspan is coming to PlayStation on October 11.

Wingspan is the digital adaptation of the acclaimed tabletop game based around collecting birds for victory points.

Players have three different locations to play bird cards, and each location and bird features different powers and abilities. The more cards you play, the more abilities you unlock. Every bard card is unique and based on a real-world bird species.

The digital adaptation is one of the best digital board games ever made, with chill music, wonderful animations, and lots of features. Players can enjoy single player with bots, or local and online multiplayer.

In addition to the base game, Monster Couch is also bringing the two big expansions, European and Oceana, which add even more birds and gameplay elements.

Wingspan will also get a physical Special Edition box courtesy of Merge Games. The Special Edition will include the two expansions, plus a Seasonal Decorative Pack.

If you enjoy Wingspawn, you’ll also probably like Wyrmspan, a recent spinoff that uses fantastical dragons. Hopefully we’ll get an awesome digital version of Wyrmspan soon!

Wingspan is also available on PC, Mac, Switch, Xbox, and mobile platforms (Android, iOS). It’s rated E for Everyone.
