Eight years after beloved farm sim Stardew Valley took root in our hearts and re-ignited a genre, we’re getting an official cookbook! The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook includes over 50 recipes from the game, written by one-man game developer ConcernedApe and author Ryan Novak, and illustrations by Kari Fry. Both Novak and Fry worked on the Stardew Valley Guidebook.

The cookbook is available now in hardcover and digital ebook editions. It’s published by Penguin Random House, and available at Amazon, Target, Barnes and Noble, and other retailers.

Culinary crusaders can explore seasonal recipes through all four seasons, which feature prominently in the game. In Summer you’ll find recipes for Crab Cakes and Pink Cake, while Fall has the Survival Burger and Pumpkin Soup.

The example entry on the website is Lucky Lunch, another recipe lifted directly from the game. The recipe, which features poached shrimp and toasted tortillas, evokes the in-game pixelated image of a star-shaped tortilla on a bed of greens.

The recipes also features write-ups, quotes, and pictures from the in-game residents of Pelican Town.

Though Stardew Valley is getting on in years, its passionate developer remains devoted to free updates and patches. The 1.6 update released earlier this year. Developer ConcernedApe has since announced his next game, Haunted Chocolatier.

Stardew Valley is available on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices. It’s rated E10+.
