Why not celebrate MAR10 Day (March 10) by playing one of the best Mario games ever made?
This year, Nintendo is offering an extended 14-day free trial membership for Nintendo Switch Online, through March 17. You’ll need the membership to play Super Mario World on the Switch, through the free Super Nintendo app.
From now until April 1, Nintendo Switch Online members can earn 50 Platinum Points by playing Super Mario World. These points can be used to unlock classic Mario icons, which can be used as profile pictures on the Switch.
Platinum Points can also be used to purchase digital and physical rewards on the Nintendo store.
As with previous years, MAR10 Day will also feature a sale on Mario games, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Party Superstars, and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, beginning March 7, and ending March 17.
Retailers such as GameStop, Amazon, and Target will feature sales on Mario games, as well as gift card rebates when purchasing Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED Model.
Other MAR10 Day activities include a meet-and-greet with Mario and Luigi at the Nintendo Store in New York, a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament, and the release of a free digital guidebook for The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
