Makers of physical indie releases Iam8bit have announced a Limited Edition of Cuphead, arriving at retailers on June 20. It’s available to pre-order now.

The Limited Edition ($59.99) includes the following:

  • PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Switch physical version of the game
  • Delicious Last Course expansion
  • Six collectible Cuphead cards
  • Cuphead Club membership card
  • Exclusive interior art by Studio MDHR
  • Ms. Chalice Fall Down figurine

From what we can tell, the Ms. Chalice figure is the only new component of the Limited Edition over the standard physical edition (about $30).

Cuphead is a 2017 run-and-gun platformer with an emphasis on large-scale boss battles. The entire world is hand-drawn and animated like an exaggerated 1930s American cartoon — including a jazzy soundtrack. The game has sold several million copies and spawned an animated series on Netflix.

The Cuphead Collector’s Edition ($199.99) is also still available on Iam8bit. It includes a hand-crank music box, foldout poster, and a 8″ handcrafted Cuphead marionette.

Cuphead is also available digitally on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox, for $19.99. It’s rated E10+ for fantasy violence, mild language, alcohol, and tobacco use.
