Xseed Games and Marvelous have announced a full remake of 2003’s farm sim classic, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will release on PC (Steam), Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in Summer 2023.
Like most farm sims, A Wonderful Life throws the player into a new town to build and maintain a farm. As the seasons pass in Forgotten Valley, players can make friends, raise crops and livestock, trade goods, and even start a family.
The original game was a big hit for the Nintendo GameCube, and introduced many young gamers to the farm sim genre.
The remake adds new events, festivals, recipes, and crops, in addition to a graphical overhaul that fits the rest of the Story of Seasons series.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will release on PC and consoles next summer. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB. Previous Story of Seasons games have been rated E10+.
