Two of our favorite PlayStation 4 (and PlayStation 5) games are heading to PC. During the PlayStation State of Play, Insomniac Games revealed that the formerly PS-exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, as well as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, are launching on PC.

Marvel’s Spider-Man remastered, which includes The City That Never Sleeps DLC, will release on August 12. The shorter but still excellent sequel Miles Morales doesn’t have a firm release date other than “Fall 2022.”

The PC versions will feature mouse and keyboard controls (as well as controller support), and some tasty unlocked graphics settings, such as adjustable renders and ray-tracing. The port is being handled by Nixxes Software.

“I am extremely pleased with our collaboration with Insomniac on the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, the shared support provided between our teams and their dedication to quality above all is inspiring,” said Jurjen Katsman, senior director, Nixxes. “It allows our team to leverage our technical expertise and focus on creating the best possible PC experience that takes advantage of all the exciting possibilities the PC platform has to offer.

Marvel’s Spider-Man stars Peter Parker as an older, post-college spidey, working for Dr. Otto Octavius while fighting crime in New York. The action game also weaves in the origin story for Miles Morales, who also becomes Spider-Man, and gains a starring role in the titular spin-off sequel.

As of last month, Marvel’s Spider-Man has sold over 33 million copies. A full sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (starring both Peter and Miles), was announced last year, with a 2023 release date.

Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morale are rated T for Teen with Blood, Drug Reference, Language, and Violence.
