Veteran gaming personality Geoff Keighley returns for the third year with Summer Game Fest 2022. The gaming event begins June 9 at 11 am Pacific/2 pm Eastern with a two-hour livestream kickoff show, and continue with events throughout the month of June.

As everyone can watch online, there are no badges, no registration, and no cost. However, if you need a big screen for your world premiere trailers, this year SGF has partnered with IMAX theaters to broadcast the Summer Game Fest live event. Tickets are available for IMAX showings.

“It’s year three for Summer Game Fest, and I’m excited to be able to bring the community together once again to celebrate everything we love about games,” said Keighley.

Participating publishers and partners this year include 2K, Activision, Atlus, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Devolver Digital, DotEmu, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Humble Games, MiHoYo, Netflix, PlayStation, Sega, Square Enix, Steam, Warner. Bros., and Xbox.

Expect tons of new game announcements and trailers in what has become a solid replacement for E3.

Directly following Summer Game Fest is Day of the Devs, hosted by veteran indie developer Tim Schafer. Day of the Devs highlights new and upcoming indie games.

Summer Game Fest also includes other digital streams throughout June, including Nextflix Geeked Week 2022 and Tribeca Games Spotlight on June 10. The Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase is June 12, while PlayStation sneaks in a bit early on June 2.
