Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space was originally released in five episodes as a follow-up to Sam & Max: Save the World. Both games were designed by Telltale Games. They were based on the original adventure series by LucasArts.
The series stars the Freelance Police, aka our crime-fighting duo, through an irreverent series of adventures.
The remastered version includes updated lighting and lip-sync, remastered audio, HD graphics, and new musical tracks.
Beyond Time and Space is currently discounted 20% off on Switch and Steam. Save the World is 30% off.
Skunkape Games also announced a physical Collector’s Edition for Beyond Time and Space, coming to PC ($69.99) and Switch ($79.99), via Limited Run Games.
The Collector’s Edition includes a feature DVD with trailers and developer commentaries, postcards, original art prints, and physical Case Files for each episode. Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition begin on May 6.
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is currently available on PC (Steam, GOG), Switch, and Xbox. It’s rated T for Teen.
