Not long after the Halloween event ended, which added Greedent, another new Pokémon is joining online MOBA Pokémon Unite. Decidueye, the arrow quill Pokémon, is coming on November 19.

Decidueye appears to be a ranged attacker, which makes sense given that it primarily attacks using a bow and arrows. Judging by the character spotlight trailer, it’s also capable of cloaking itself in swirling leaves, firing ghostly shadow bolts, and unleashing a huge volley of arrows in a straight line in what is presumably the ultimate unite move.

Decidueye is a fan-favorite thanks to its unique look and style, with the hooded cloak and bow and arrow resembling a classic outlaw or bandit. Decidueye is a Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon who evolves from Dartrix and then Rowlet, one of the three starter Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Decidueye will be the 17th Pokémon added to Unite. It arrives shortly after the start of Battle Pass 3, which began on November 8. Battle Passes add 90 levels of unlockable goodies. Some are free, but most have to be unlocked by purchasing the premium pass, and then leveling up through playing.

Decidueye’s appearance had been leaked and/or datamined prior to the official announcement. The other new Pokémon supposedly coming to Unite is Thievul, a Dark-type Fox Pokémon.

Pokémon Unite is free to play on Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android mobile devices. It’s rated E10+.
