Nintendo is all about re-releasing Wii U and 3DS games on the Switch, and for that we are thankful. During the September 2021 Direct, Nintendo announced Disney Magical World 2 is coming to Switch as the Enchanted Edition this Holiday season.

Disney Magical World 2 originally released in 2016 on the 3DS as a direct sequel to the 2014 original. The series are Disney-fied life simulators. Players explore Disney worlds (like Kingdom Hearts) and build up their own unique town of residents (as in Animal Crossing). The art style looks very Animal Crossing and Miitopia.

Making friends with neighbors grants access to portals that lead to new worlds full of familiar Disney characters. Activities include managing a Disney-themed café, decorating and customizing your home, and celebrating in parades.

“Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition offers Disney fans experiences they’ve only dreamed of, on their Nintendo Switch,” said Lin Leng, senior director of marketing, Bandai Namco. “Between dancing with Disney princesses and embarking on quests with magical characters, we can’t wait for players to experience all the magic of Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition on the go!”

Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition is rated E for Everyone with Mild Cartoon Violence. It’s launching this Holiday on Switch.
