During the Street Fighter 5 Summer update 2021 stream (above), director Takayuki Nakayama and producer Shuhei Matsumoto revealed the final post-launch fighter. Luke, an entirely new character, will join the roster as the fifth and final character in the Season 5 character pass, and the 45th total fighter, this November.

According to the press release, Luke is all about moving fast and hitting hard, which is about as generic as you can get when it comes to describing a fighting game character. More information on Luke, including his backstory, will be revealed leading up to his release in November.

The video also provided a deeper look at the next two characters coming in the Season 5 character pass, Oro and Akira Kazama. Oro originally appeared in Street Fighter 3. He wears a purple robe and cradles a rather large pet turtle in his hand while fighting. Akira is from the Rival Schools series, joining Street Fighter for the first time with her black biker gear, along with a Rival Riverside stage.

Oro, Akira, and the Rival Riverside stage will launch on August 16 as part of the Season 5 character pass, with Luke arriving later in November. Each character can also be purchased separately for $5.99. The character pass is also included in the Champion Edition, which includes all released DLC.

Street Fighter 5 is available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation. It’s rated T for Teen.
