During the E3 Xbox + Bethesda 2021 showcase, Bethesda released a new teaser trailer for Starfield, along with a release date: November 11, 2022. And yes, it will be exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X/S on release.

Bethesda is best known for huge first-person RPG series The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Starfield represents their first new intellectual property in 25 years.

Bethesda has remained tight-lipped about the next-gen RPG since first teasing it and The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 2018. Here’s the official description:

In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom. Harnessing the power of next-gen technology and built on the all-new Creation Engine 2, Starfield takes you on a journey through space as you strive to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.

The good news is that we should start getting a lot more updates and information about the upcoming sci-fi RPG. The first behind-the-scenes video (above) teases a series of videos that take a deep dive into what Starfield is all about.

Fun fact: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim released on November 11, 2011. Barring any delays, Starfield will launch on November 11, 2022 on Windows PC and Xbox Series X/S.
