Frame Fatales, an all women speedrunning community from charity event organizer Games Done Quick, are returning this year with another livestream event. Flame Fatales 2021 will stream August 15-21 on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel.

Last November, Frame Fatales’ charity event, Fleet Fatales, raised over $80,000 for the nonprofit charity Malala Fund, supporting girls’ education and women’s rights around the world. The event featured over 60 speedruns, including Bayonetta, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Dark Souls, Hades, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Flame Fatales will be opening up game submissions on May 18, with a finalized game schedule coming July 15. Volunteer submissions will be open from July 15 to the 24th.

For over a decade, Games Done Quick has raised more than $30 million for dozens of charities, including Doctors Without Borders, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and AbleGamers. The next big Games Done Quick charity event, Summer Games Done Quick 2021, will take place July 4-11 on Twitch.tv. As in the previous year, the entire event will be online-only.
