Capcom has announced The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is launching on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Switch on July 27 ($39.99), marking the first time the Great Ace Attorney series is releasing in English. A bundle that includes Chronicles and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is also launching on the same day ($59.99).

The Great Ace Attorney Adventures was original released on Nintendo 3DS in Japan, along with a sequel, Great Ace Attorney 2. Both games took the Phoenix Wright formula of court room drama into a period piece set over 100 years in the past, at the dawn of the 20th century, also known as the Meiji Period in Japan (Victorian era in England).

The stories follow Ryunosuke, an ancestor of series protagonist Phoenix Wright, as he unravels 10 different cases and meets many eccentric characters, including detective Herlock Sholmes. Players will team up with Sholmes to uncover facts and clues, while in the courtroom they’ll need to cross-examine witnesses and point out discrepancies.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles includes both games, as well as eight mini-episodes and three costumes that were previously released as DLC. Chronicles also includes artwork, music, and voice recordings via the new Art Gallery and Auditorium features.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles will launch on July 27 on PC, Switch, and PlayStation. The Ace Attorney series is rated T for Teen.
