Spacebase Startopia is releasing later this Spring, but if you have an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, you can jump in right now. Spacebase Startopia is available starting today via Xbox Game Preview, Microsoft’s version of Early Access (or Open Beta). You’ll need to pre-order the game to gain access to the Game Preview version. Watch the new Xbox Preview trailer above.
Spacebase Startopia is a modern remake and redesign of the 2001 sim management game set in a multi-level, ringed space station. As commander of the space station you’ll need to attract new alien visitors and residents, manage the economy, keep patrons happy, and grow new crops. You’ll also have to quell riots and thwart any would-be invaders.
The campaign includes multiple tutorials and single player missions, as well as co-op and skirmish modes, and a sandbox mode for building your perfect space station.
By pre-ordering via Xbox Game Preview (or the Kalypso Store), you can receive 10% off, as well as access to the beta version. The Beta/preview version includes all tutorial maps and multiplayer modes, as well as the first four missions from the campaign.
Spacespace Startopia is also available via Steam Early Access on PC. The full version is launching later this year. It’s rated E10+.
