SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated released a few months ago as an HD remaster of the kid-friendly 2003 3D platformer. The release has been successful enough to warrant a mobile port. THQ Nordic has announced that Rehydrated is coming to iOS and Android mobile devices on January 21, for $9.99.

It’s available for pre-order now on the Apple AppStore and Google Play.

In Battle for Bikini Bottom, you can play as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy, each with their own unique skills. Meet familiar faces (and voices) from the classic cartoon. Explore Bikini Bottom, defeat robots, and thwart the evil plans of Plankton as he attempts to steal the secret formula from Mr. Krabs.

The Rehydrated remaster features enhanced visuals, modern resolutions, and polished gameplay. The mobile version features optimized controls for touch screen mobile devices. You can also play with a mobile-friendly gamepad thanks to full controller support.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is also available on Steam PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. It’s rated E for everyone.
