After launching on Switch earlier this year, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is coming to PlayStation 4 with an expanded version. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron is Back! will launch on PlayStation 4 and Switch in digital and physical versions on November 17.
The Baron is Back! brings back fan-favorite villain Baron von Blubba. The Baron comes with 100 new stages, doubling the amount of stages in the original release.
As in the original 80s arcade game, players embody bubble-belching dinosaurs in a series of single-screen levels filled with enemies and platforms. In Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, players can unlock new skills and level up by collecting letter Bubbles that spell “EXTEND.”
The arcade action game supports up to four player local co-op. Online ranking lets you compete in leaderboards with other players for the high score. The original arcade game has also been included for an extra dose of nostalgia.
If you already own Bubble Bobble 4 Friends on Switch, The Baron is Back can be downloaded as a free update.
