One of our favorite indie games of the last several years, Slime Rancher, is getting the deluxe treatment. Skybound Games and Moonomi Park have announced Slime Rancher: Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition is a new physical version with added DLC and other goodies, releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 7 for $34.99.

The Deluxe Edition includes the following:

  • The full game and all post-launch updates and patches.
  • Secret Style Pack and Fashion Playset DLC.
  • Slimepedia Booklet – a guide to the Far, Far Range.
  • Digital soundtrack featuring over 50 songs.

In Slime Rancher you play as Beatrix LeBeau, as she begins a new career on an alien world filled with adorable and mischievous slimes. Thanks to the useful vacpack, Beatrix can explore the Far, Far Range collecting slimes and harvesting resources in order to grow crops and breed more slimes, turning the ranch into a money-making machine.

The Secret Style Pack added an alternate skin for every single slime in the game. These secret skins must first be unlocked by finding secret treasure pods scattered around the world.

In addition to the paid DLC, Monomi Park has been releasing frequent and free content updates, adding new zones, new slimes, and new upgrades.

Slime Rancher originally launched on PC in 2017, with console (and physical) versions arriving in 2018. The Deluxe Edition will be available on April 7 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders are available now through Skybound Games and major retailers. Slime Rancher is rated E10+.
