PAX South 2020 will feature two new partnerships and initiatives designed to provide inclusive spaces for marginalized groups in gaming: PAX Together and the Latinx Lounge.

PAX Together will help highlight marginalized developers on the exhibit show floor, including Kitfox Games, Strange Scoffold, and Rose City Games. The initiative is supported by Houston Gaymers and Red Bull.

Together with Latnix in Gaming, PAX South 2020 will also feature the first Latinx Lounge, which includes workshops, networking, panels, and games featuring the Latinx community throughout all three days of the convention. Participating developers include Mecha Studio, Level 99 Games, and Navegante, with panelists from BioWare, Microsoft, and Gearbox.

At least one of the Latinx Lounge panels will be in Spanish, and another is all about teaching Salsa dancing. The Latinx Lounge is supported by Red Bull, Unity, Twitch, and Microsoft.

The full PAX South 2020 schedule and exhibitor list are now available online and via the Guidebook PAX mobile app.

PAX South 2020 takes place January 17 – 19, 2020 in San Antonio, TX, and features three days of panels, tournaments, gaming lounges, and an exhibitor show floor. Three-day passes and single day badges are still available.
