Rockstar Games announced that last year’s high-profile sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5. Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming first to Rockstar’s own Rockstar Launcher, as well as the Epic Games Store before releasing on Steam a month later in December.

Red Dead Redemption 2 presents a gorgeous open world western, and the PC version goes even further with new graphical enhancements that increase draw distance, provide higher quality lightning, and improved textures. The PC version will also offer HDR and 4K support, as well as multi-monitor and widescreen setups.

These enhancements come with a beefy cost. Here are the recommended PC specs for Red Dead Redemption 2:

  • OS:  Windows 10
  • Processor:  Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory:  12GB
  • Graphics Card:  Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • HDD Space:  150GB

The PC version also adds new story content, including three new bounty hunter missions, two new gang hideouts, two new treasure maps, and several new weapons, horses, and trinkets.

Pre-orders are available now. If you pre-order before October 22 (via Rockstar Launcher) you will also receive a free upgrade to Special or Ultimate Edition, several digital goodies like Gold Bars for Red Dead Online, and two free Rockstar Games titles from the following list:

  • Grand Theft Auto 3
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

Red Dead Redemption 2 released in fall 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s coming November 5 on PC (Rockstar Launcher, Epic Games Store) and on Steam in December. It’s rated M for Mature.
