PUBG Corp and Tencent Games have developer a lighter mobile version of online battle royale third-person shooter PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile Lite features fewer system requirements and memory, allowing more people to enjoy the mayhem. It’s available now on the Google Play store for Android phones.

PUBG Mobile Lite has a reduced download size of 490 MB, and can be played on mobile devices that have less than 2 GB RAM. To compensate for the reduction, the battle map is smaller. Player match sized has been reduced to 60, and matches last only 10 minutes.

Other changes in PUBG Mobile Lite include enhanced aim assistance, removing bullet drop, suppressing weapon recoil, and allowing for healing while moving. Building density and loot have been increased to help create faster matches. All of these features are designed to improve the online multiplayer experience when playing with a less than optimal internet connection and/or mobile device.

The original PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PUBG Mobile is available on iOS and Android mobile devices. PUBG Mobile Lite is available on Android only. All versions are rated M for Mature.
